The fourth annual Good Lemonade Day is taking place in 2025 with a goal of raising money for JoeAnna’s House.  Our vision is to have at least 100 lemonade stands all across BC on the same day!

By being a part of our lemonade community, you will be providing help and support for families who are needing to travel and be away from home while their loved one receives hospital care. JoeAnna’s House is a home-away-from-home located in Kelowna, and provides accommodation for families of patients who require treatment at Kelowna General Hospital. Good Lemonade Day

When

Good Lemonade Day stands will all take place on the same day: Saturday, June 14, 2025 at various times throughout the day.

We are encouraging stands to be hosted anytime between 11am – 3pm and times of each stand will vary by location; some may only be open for a few hours within that timeframe.

Who

Families and individuals who would like to make a difference and help raise funds for JoeAnna’s House. Everybody in BC is welcome to sign up to host a booth!

The deadline to register for a lemonade stand (and be guaranteed a free Starter Pack including two t-shirts is May 20, 2025). Late registrants may be welcome but cannot be guaranteed free supplies. If you would like to register after this deadline, please email us at [email protected]

Where

Good Lemonade Day stands will be held in communities all across British Columbia! Most lemonade stands will be open between 11am – 3pm but times will vary by location and individual stand times cannot be guaranteed.

Every Prestige Hotels and Resorts location in BC will be hosting a lemonade stand between 10 am – 4pm (or as long as supplies last). Thank you for visiting the lemonade stand in your area that works best.

How

Note: Registration for the 2025 event is now closed. If you are interested in hosting a lemonade stand after the registration date ends, please email us at @[email protected] and we are happy to sign you up, however, the free Starter Pack of supplies and t-shirts cannot be guaranteed after May 20. 

Once you have registered, a member of our team will reach out to go over any logistics and answer any questions. All participants will be provided with an exciting “Good Lemonade Day Starter Package”. If you’re located in Kelowna, you can pick up your starter pack at Prestige Hotels and Resorts’ Corporate Office located at 102-1635 Abbott Street (date TBD). If you’re located in one of our BC communities, please pick up your starter pack at your nearest Prestige Hotels and Resorts location (date TBD).

Included in the package will be:

  • Two t-shirts to wear on Good Lemonade Day

  • Some lemonade mix to get you started

  • A sign and balloons to display on your lemonade stand on June 14

  • Information on how to collect payment

All registered families who host a lemonade stand will be entered to WIN a 2-night family getaway to your choice of any Prestige Hotels and Resorts property in BC.

FAQ

Yes, due to the nature of this province-wide event and the marketing messaging behind it, we kindly ask that only host your Good Lemonade Day stand only on June 14, 2025. However, JoeAnna’s House accepts donations year-round so if you felt compelled to host additional lemonade stands or other fundraisers outside of the Good Lemonade Day event brand/date, they would always appreciate extra funds raised and would gladly accept your donation.

The event will proceed, rain or shine, on June 14. We also recommend you host your stand sometime between 11am – 3pm (it doesn’t have to be the entire time).

Yes, by all means, if you want to sell additional home-made items you are more than welcome to. We kindly require that all funds raised on the additional items also be donated to JoeAnna’s House.

Yes, as this is a fundraiser we have limited funds to supply all 100 families with large amounts of lemonade. We kindly ask you to purchase additional amount, at your cost, if you would like to sell more than what is provided. Thank you!

Yes absolutely! We encourage you to ask your friends, family, colleagues, teammates, or anybody to donate to the cause too, even if they can’t come by the lemonade stand in person. We will be providing all participants with a link to an online donation page; coming soon!

Due to the generous support of our two sponsors: Laing Roofing, and Prestige Hotels and Resorts, 100% of the funds raised at the lemonade stands will go directly to JoeAnna’s House.

In addition to what we supply in the starter pack, please be prepared to provide your own water to make the lemonade, pitcher(s) for the lemonade, cups, ice, a table(s) and a float for change.

Yes, we would be happy to order your family/group extra t-shirts at a cost of $20 each if the two we are providing are not enough. Please complete that question accordingly on the registration form.

We are recommending that you charge at least $1 per cup of lemonade, but of course people are welcome to donate more if they’d like to.

Yes, the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation is pleased to issue tax receipts to anyone who donates more than $20. Note: the donations must be made on the donation website in order to qualify for a tax receipt. In-person donations made at the stand are not eligible.

At the end of the Good Lemonade Day, please complete the survey form that will be emailed out to you and let us know how it went!!  Our goal is that you had a great time helping out your community.  Please let us know how much you were able to raise and we will review how to submit your total fundraising dollars.  There will be several methods, such as:

  • Deposit the money into your personal bank account and then make a lump sum payment on your stand’s donation page.
  • Deposit the money into your personal bank account and then send an e-transfer to [email protected].
  • Deposit the money into your personal bank account and then mail a cheque to 5165 Lark Street Kelowna, BC V1W 4K9. Cheques should be made out to “Good Lemonade Day”
  • If none of these options are possible, please email us at [email protected] and we can discuss alternative methods for submitting your funds raised.
